Quick note on carrier oils

Carrier oils dilute essential oils for safe topical use.

  • Jojoba: skin-balancing, great for most people, ideal for roll-ons

  • Fractionated coconut (MCT): light, non-greasy, long shelf life

  • Sweet almond: classic for body oils and massage (nice “slip”)

  • Grapeseed: lightweight, fast-absorbing

  • Apricot kernel: gentle, good all-purpose option

  • Avocado: richer/heavier, great for very dry skin

  • Argan / Rosehip: face-friendly, nourishing (premium options)

Safety notes (important)

  • Citrus oils (lemon, grapefruit, bergamot) can cause sun sensitivity on skin; avoid sun/UV after topical use unless you know your oil is non-phototoxic.

  • “Hot oils” (cinnamon, clove) should be used in very low amounts and well diluted.

  • Essential oils are not the same as fragrance oils; avoid ingestion unless under qualified guidance.

  • If pregnant, nursing, or using around children/pets, keep blends gentle and use extra caution.
